In the masterpiece of Leonardo da Vinci would be content to be his philosophical
LONDON - The Mystery Mona Lisa's enigmatic expression could be explained by a gender issue: Mona Lisa was probably a guy and this "little" especially if it is confirmed, it could give that look so unusual for a lady and her famous enigmatic smile.
STUDY - At a conference Wednesday in Rome Vinceti Silvano, president of the National Committee for the Enhancement of historical, cultural and environmental manager of a research on the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, has revealed to members of the press foreign to the outcome of his studies. According to the researchers of the Committee, Leonardo would have started to paint his masterpiece inspired by the Florentine noblewoman Lisa Gherardini, but was later replaced, during the works, with his old lover Gian Giacomo Caprotti, known as Salai.
EYES OF MONA LISA - Vinceti claims to have discovered three "layers found" three signs 'unambiguous' in the painting that would make "the philosophical texts, esoteric, religious and theological" of da Vinci, stressing that Tuscan genius has worked extensively, several times, prior to completing his work. During the tests carried out on the canvas two letters were found hidden in the eyes of the Mona Lisa: S (Salai) in the left and an L (Lisa) in the right. The handwriting of the two characters was compared with da Vinci's writings and found compatible.
THE ROOM - In 1490, ten years, Gian Giacomo Caprotti went to work in the workshop of Leonardo, later becoming the pupil and, supposedly, the lover. The youth, described by his own master "thief, liar, stubborn and greedy," accompanied by Vinci in all his trips and transfers. Salai's nickname derives from the Arabic word 'salah', which refers to a infernal power and is taken by Morgan's Louis Fleas, comic-chivalric poem written for the Medici court when Leonardo was still in Florence. There are no signed paintings by Salai, but the are still attributed several works, including the androgynous nude Gioconda (owned by a Swiss private collection), the result of a painting to duet with da Vinci, for the realization of which posed as a young model. On January 19, 1524 Gian Giacomo Caprotti was killed by a gunshot that some attribute to imprudence in handling the weapon and others to a fight.
THE SECRET OF THE BRIDGE - The team of Italian researchers (consisting of an anthropologist, a professor of microbiology, a former head of Ris di Parma and a historian and art critic) gave an explanation for the mysterious number 72, which appears under the arch of the bridge in the background that frames the face of Mona Lisa. In the Kabbalistic tradition are seventy-two letters in the name of God, and seven is the number that represents the creation of the world. But 7:02 also refer to Revelation of John in the New Testament and, finally, the 2 is synonymous with the duality and the harmony of masculine and feminine principles, the philosophical view that Leonardo expressed, according to the theories of the Committee, by painting the Mona Lisa. The bridge however would be to Aburi, nell'aretino area in which da Vinci came between 1502 and 1503 to study, on the orders of Cesare Borgia, the reclamation area.
